CBI probe demanded

In the wake of BSP's alleged involvement behind the killing of the PWD engineer, opposition parties had demanded for a CBI probe into the incident. 

Meanwhile Chief Minister Mayawati said that she was ready for a CBI inquiry provided other similar cases being refered to CBI too be handed over to the CBI by the Central government.

The 52 year old was brutally murdered by alleged BSP supporters when he refused to donate funds towards Mayawati's birthday celebrations.
