Friday, January 9, 2009
The mood among the UP team is certainly high after they had clinched their way into the finals of the renowned Ranji Trophy tournament. Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association has already honored the players Shivakant Shukla and Parminder Singh for their top performance in the semifinal match against Tamil Nadu. However the final is going to be a tough game when they clash against the mighty Mumbai team on January 12 in Hyderabad as Mumbai are already 37 time Ranji Trophy champions. This is the fifth time UP is coming in finals in the Ranji tourney. --MP
