A team comprising of students and faculty from IIT-K (Kanpur) are on a dedicated mission to develop and launch its first ever nano satellite.
The space satellite is part of the college's research project led by the IIT-K's mechanical engg dept. Though the college has engaged in space related research projects even before, this is the first time they are making the entire satellite inside the college itself.
On successful completion, the satellite will be launched by the Indian Space Research Institute ISRO by a PSLV.
