Alliance with SP, LJP till polls: Lalu
Friday, March 27, 2009
Lalu Prasad yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal(RJD), Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Shakti party(LJP) and Mulayam Singh Yadav's Samajwadi party( SP) has joined together to form a secular alliance to fight the coming LS elections. The RJD's alliance is however said to be an agreement only till the elections where they will jointly contest in northern States like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, said RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.
With regional parties demanding more power at the northern states, the Congress seems to be finding hard to keep its allies within the UPA coalition. --MP
