Its raining war of words between Mayawati and Maneka Gandhi.

Reacting to BJP leader Maneka Gandhi's remarks on motherhood, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati has hit back saying that if Maneka was a good mother and had raised her son Varun Gandhi in good virtues, he wouldnt had to go to jail. She also demanded an apology from the BJP leader for her comments.

Maneka had earlier said that Mayawati could not understand the pain of a mother as she is not a mother herself and said Mayawati was a corrupt woman and ridiculed her for comparing herself with saint Mother Teresa.
