Parties demand Maya's removal

In the wake of Thursday's attack on Uttar Pradesh Congress Chief, Rita Bahuguna Joshi by the Mayawati  government, major political parties including BJP and Samajwadi party has sought action against the ruling BSP government  in UP.

Rita Bahuguna was arrested on Thursday and her house also came under attack by alleged BSP supporters, the reason being her alleged remarks against the UP Chief Minister.

Meanwhile when Congress strongly condemned the incident, both BJP and SP leaders demanded that the UP govt under Mayawati be dismissed to resolve the worsening law and order situation in the State.
